• About us: The Dough Girl Foundation (DGF) is a North East San Fernando Valley community-based organization. They're on a mission with two game-changing programs. First, helping high schoolers get clued up on finances, business smarts, and personal wealth. Secondly, whipping up a recipe for success for at-risk and re-entry communities by dishing out culinary arts skills and inspiring personal growth development.

Who Are You? 

We seek a business operations intern responsible for delivering curated, highly targeted, and accurate lead lists for potential school and community partners. Your goal will be to enhance the work of our sales team and help fill the pipeline with potential partners. Once a lead is identified, you will research the partner, identify proper contacts and contact information, and work with the sales account executives to ensure follow-up.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Provide Leads generated by a daily review of Social media, industry websites, and internet sources.
• Actively research growing organizations in growth industries and sectors to create non-market lead information and identify prospects that match our services.
• Validate prospects' contact info - clarify and confirm addresses, contacts, email, and phone numbers.
• Enter data into the shared data system.
• Develop tools and methods for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires.
• Preparing marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs.
• Confirm the accuracy of our data on file and flag redundant or irrelevant data for non-qualified leads.
• Research prospects and clients for job changes and make sure our data is updated.
• Keep the data system up to date with market and lead information, appointments made by the sales team, and feedback/next steps after appointments have taken place.
• Participate in Job Shadowing, Mentorship, and other Career Exploration and Preparation activities.
  
  

Your Background 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable with large data sets - Attention to detail in working with internal systems 

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new information as it relates to improving processes

• Must be independent, self-motivated, and success-driven, yet willing to work within an international team environment.

• Loves research and gaining industry knowledge.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
