And while districts spend $25 billion annually on transportation, only 30% of kids get to school everyday on a school bus. Who Are You? 

HopSkipDrive is looking for an Employee Experience intern. The intern will report to our People Operations Partner, Tamara Mendelson, and be working with the People & Talent team. It’s a rare opportunity to gain exposure to a fun, creative and fast-paced work environment that is passionate about working to create opportunity for all through mobility.  

What You'll Do:

• Leveraging existing resources and team knowledge to create learning content and training courses for our learning management system (LMS), WorkRamp.
• Participating in organization's social committee and directly supporting engagement initiatives as they arise.
• Writing/designing internal communications for employee experience initiatives (event invites, Slack announcements, etc.).
• Support the planning and rollout of a pilot DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging) program.
• Contributing to other projects and programs related to employee engagement and development as needed.

Over the course of the internship, you will learn how to build training resources in a corporate setting, developing internal communications, working with an LMS, and fostering cross-functional relationships. You will also have direct exposure/access to internal learning content targeted toward employee development.

Your Background 

• Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a related degree program
• Experience creating presentations
• Some graphic design skills (Canva okay)
• Excellent writing skills
• Video editing experience a plus
• Great collaboration skills
• Creativity
• Willingness to take initiative
• Interest in HR/People Ops or Learning & Development a huge plus

Student transportation is the largest public transit system in America, and it needs help.  The national bus driver shortage is leaving kids without a ride to school and districts with few options.  Meanwhile, many school buses are largely empty, but transportation teams lack the modern decision-support technology and advanced analytics they need to design more efficient, data-driven systems.
