We are a small, but growing team, and are incredibly passionate about the work we do for our clients. We work with small to midsize organizations and help with building websites, designing brand identities and logos, capture photo/video, and general graphic design.

    We love investing in our team and having our team members grow with their role. This will be a remote position, however, most of our team is based in our Rancho Cucamonga office. If you’re somewhat local to the area, it would be great to be able to meet in person from time to time!

 

Who Are You? 

 

We are looking for a Website Design intern who will partner with our creative team to tackle project-based work. You’ll get real-world experience and contribute to introducing a new way to tell stories from the ground up.

You should be able to take instruction but also work unsupervised when required. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

What you will do:

  • Assist the creative team in designing and building websites for clients, our own website, or assist with maintenance and updates to existing websites.

  • Most websites we build will be on Squarespace, but there may be opportunities to learn and build on other platforms if desired.

  • Work on all aspects of the design process including layout, typography, color, etc.

  • Study and learn brand style guides and brand consistency.

  • Stay up to date with current aesthetic best practices

  • Work on any specific areas of growth throughout tenure of internship.

 

Your Background 

 

About You: 

  • Willingness to learn and grow within various aspects of not just web design, but design fundamentals.

  • Prior experience or familiarity of working on websites is a plus, whether that’s in Squarespace or a different platform.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player. Must be able to work in a team environment, take direction, as well as take constructive feedback from the team or from clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize work without missing deadlines

Subsidy Role Information

 

Subsidy roles require students to have an LA County based address, and be between the ages of 18-24 years old. Once you are placed in a subsidy eligible position you will be required to present the following documents to processed in a Youth Center (AJCC):

  1. Identification (School or State ID)

  2. Social Security Card (Please ensure that it is signed)

  3. Birth Certificate

  4. Proof of Los Angeles County Residency, including a postmarked date (Report Card, Transcripts, or any mail that is under the applicant’s name)

  5. Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination OR valid medical/religious exemption

  6. The Youth Center (AJCC) WILL BE PAYING YOU for 160 completed hours.

  7. You will be required to submit Timesheets to your YOUTH CENTER (AJCC) to be paid for your time worked.

NOTE IF YOU WERE ALREADY PLACED IN A SUBSIDY POSITION (ACADEMY/INTERNSHIP). YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO QUALIFY FOR SUBSIDY ROLES UNTIL JULY 1ST
